LGBT Tech has been featured prominently in a Future of Privacy Forum press release from the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT), alongside CCRI and NNEDV, announcing a new multi-stakeholder working group dedicated to addressing non-consensual intimate image abuse, including AI-generated content.
This coalition brings together technology companies, civil society advocates, safety experts, and impacted communities, including LGBT Tech, to develop interventions that prevent the creation, distribution, and monetization of non-consensual intimate images. LGBT Tech’s participation underscores its commitment to protecting digital privacy and security for communities vulnerably impacted by online abuse.
By standing alongside partners across sectors, such as Bumble, Meta, Google, and the Human Rights Campaign, LGBT Tech helps shape inclusive solutions to safeguard LGBTQ+ and broader vulnerable communities from emerging technological harms.
