LGBT Tech Featured Through Wide Angle Youth Media Case Study on NBCUniversal’s Creative Impact Lab

LGBT Tech was recently featured in a video produced by Wide Angle Youth Media as part of NBCUniversal’s Creative Impact Lab, a signature initiative of NBCUnites. The project highlighted how LGBT Tech works at the intersection of technology and public policy to amplify LGBTQ+ voices and ensure representation in digital and tech spaces.
Through this collaboration, Wide Angle apprentices gained hands-on experience in storytelling, video production, and technical skills, learning everything from storyboarding and camera operation to editing and animation, while capturing LGBT Tech’s advocacy and educational efforts.
This feature showcases not only LGBT Tech’s mission and impact but also the power of mentorship and media training to empower the next generation of creative talent in tech and storytelling.
