LGBT Tech is proud to announce that its PATHS program 2024 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics) Educational Grant has awarded a total of $96,370 in grants to 22 grantees across 14 states. This funding supports LGBTQ+ individuals beginning their “paths'' into a STEAM program by helping to remove financial access barriers. We recognize that each individual’s path is unique, so this grant is open to applicants pursuing STEAM through diverse avenues.
The PATHS program continues to champion diversity in technology, ensuring that LGBTQ+ individuals in STEAM are heard, represented, and empowered across the digital landscape. These grants will enable recipients to further their work, tackling challenges faced by underrepresented communities in STEAM.
