Let’s Tech About It!: A Night of Connection, Community & Digital Equity at Net Inclusion 2025

LGBT Tech was proud to host Let’s Tech About It, an LGBTQ+ & allies inclusive networking event at this year’s Net Inclusion Conference in Phoenix Arizona and what a night it was!

From start to finish, attendees brought incredible energy, sparking vibrant conversations around digital equity, inclusion, and the importance of uplifting LGBTQ+ voices in tech spaces. The room was filled with advocates, innovators, and allies, each one contributing to a night of genuine connection, laughter, and shared purpose.

Whether folks came to make new friends, find future collaborators, or simply unwind in a space where they felt seen and celebrated, Let’s Tech About It! was a powerful reminder of why community matters.

LGBT Tech also joined the conversation on stage, our Policy Director, Shae Gardner, delivered a lightning round presentation titled: “Mapping LGBTQIA+ Inclusion in State Digital Equity Plans: Analyzing Gaps, Intersectionality, and Equity Implications.” Their insights helped spark meaningful dialogue around how LGBTQ+ communities are being represented (or left out) in digital equity planning nationwide.
