On August 9, the United Church of Christ, OC Inc., the National Consumer Law Center and the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council submitted a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) urging them to provide support for low-income individuals. Over twenty organizations including LGBT Tech signed on to the letter, which has since gone public.
