Policy Manager
Gautham is the Policy Manager at LGBT Tech, where he oversees the organization’s policy research and advocacy efforts. He works to ensure LGBTQ+ voices are represented and centered in technology policy conversations.
Before joining LGBT Tech, Gautham was a Policy Research Fellow with the Movement Advancement Project (MAP), conducting research on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) data use cases in federal systems, advocating for inclusive data collections to support LGBTQ+ equity. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health, performing qualitative analysis on how chosen family structures shape LGBTQ+ political organizing. Earlier in his career, he spent two years as a Management Consulting Associate in Chicago.
He holds a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Social Policy from the University of Michigan, and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University.
In his spare time, he enjoys music, reading, and fermenting things in the kitchen.
