Shae Gardner

Policy Director

Shae Gardner is an LGBTQIA+ advocate and Policy Director for LGBT Tech, working to ensure that the unique needs of her community are being considered and addressed in an increasingly technological world. Shae comes to LGBT Tech with roughly a decade of experience in technology research and policy, most recently as Executive Policy Analyst and previously Manager of Research, both at wireless trade association CTIA. Shae began working in technology policy while studying politics at the George Washington University, and has since led a number of industry efforts, including reporting on next-generation network rollouts, managing a COVID-era connectivity initiative, and spearheading an industry-first LGBTQIA+ DEI report. In her role as Policy Director, Shae serves as policy expert on state and federal technology issues, supporting LGBT Tech's mission to build community strength through research, education, partnerships, and programs.
